3210754 - Cannot Manage Licenses in License Administration Module Due to Multiple License Files

Symptom

You are not able to perform license management tasks correctly in License Administration module, for example checking license assignment data, assigning licenses or changing license files.

Environment

SAP Business One

Reproducing the Issue

Prerequisite:

There are multiple license files stored in the license server.

Scenario:

1. Go to SAP Business One → Administration → License → License Administration.
   2. Perform license management tasks, for example check license assignment data, assign a license or change a license file.

Expected behavior:

Get correct license assignment data, be able to assign license, be able to change license file.

Actual behavior:

The License Assignment screen displays incorrect license assignment information, you cannot assign licenses and are unable to change license files.

Cause

Multiple license files can cause assignment data confusion and a newly imported license file cannot take effect.

Resolution

1. Remove all license files and B1Upf.xml under this path:
     For SAP Business One on SQL: C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Business One ServerTools\LicenseHTTPS\webapps\lib
     For SAP Business One on HANA: /usr/sap/SAPBusinessOne/ServerTools/License/webapps/lib
   2. Restart license service.
   3. Re-import the new license file from SLD control center instead of SAP Business One client.
