3456023 - SAP Business One client login error with no relevant authorizations or relevant configuration files are corrupted

Symptom

When logging on to SAP Business One, you receive an error:

"You cannot save the address of the System Landyscape Directory. Please check if you have the correct authorization/the relevant configuration files are corrupted. Please contact the administrator"

Prerequisites:

You are login to SAP Business One Client on a client machine.

Expected behavior:

SAP Business One Client login should succeded without any error.

Actual behavior:

SAP Business One Client login failed with the error.

Cause

System Limitation.

Resolution

You can try the below options:

1. Start the SAP Business One Client with "Run as administrator".
2. Provide the relevant authorizations (Read/Write or full permissions) to this folder for the logged user under: "C:\Program Files\SAP" and then try to login again.
